This book is such an easy read and being a fairly new mum the first few months passed in a blur due to sleep deprivation, so this book is definitely something I could relate to. I like how it's not just about the author but about the family friends too, it's a very honest account and we all know parents are reluctant to admit how much of a nightmare they're children are but this is not the case in this book. It was also surprisingly funny and i found myself chuckling at lots of of it, it's also prepared me for what I may have to come when my daughter is growing up.
Overall I would recommend this book and suggest mummys give it a read.

"Easy Reading"

Being a new first time mother I was keen to read Claire Evans' diary of a sleep deprived mum to compare myself against others and see how I'm doing! I absorbed myself in books in order to become a better mother and as this book highlights there is no right or wrong just what works for you.

The book was well writen and easy to read with the short sections making it perfect for dipping in and out of during those precious few minutes alone. I have to confess that I found the labels given to people was confusing and not really necessary.

I think that the book is a little overpriced, but if you want a bit of light reading that might help keep you awake through some late night feedings then this book certainly offers that.

Finally, I was initially put off by the cover, which in my opinion does not represent the book at all. However, the white space used in the actual book lends itself for easy reading through tired eyes.
